THE TEAM OF MICHAEL KUKA & NATALIA LIND

Pros for your shows

Natalia and Michael met as dancers in the show “Tango Fiesta” in 2004, and they have been partners in performance and teaching ever since. Between them, their credits include such major motion pictures and TV shows as Poseidon, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Will & Grace, as well as commercials for Honda Motors, Domaine Chandon, and others.  They have performed and competed around the world and are recognized experts in ballroom dance (American and International styles), Argentine Tango and Salsa.

Michael and Natalia’s shared passion for teaching led them to create the Ballroom Dance Academy of Los Angeles, with programs designed for all levels, from beginning to expert.  They went on to establish the Ballroom Dance Academy Teacher Training Program as a way to train new professionals.

MICHAEL KUKA

Choreographer

Born in Milwaukee, Michael’s interests ran to motorcycles and rock bands until he discovered dancing in high school as a great way to meet girls. He hasn’t stopped dancing since.

As a competitive Ballroom and Latin dancer, Michael has won championships all over the United States and Canada. Michael also discovered he has a gift for teaching as well as performing. First at Arthur Murray, where he received the national Top Teacher award, and later through the Ballroom Dance Academy of Los Angeles, Michael aims to instruct and inspire students with his passion and professionalism. In addition, Michael is a regional examiner for the DVIDA professional certification program.

In those rare moments when he gets to take off his dance shoes, Michael enjoys tempting fate with his pursuit of adventure sports, scuba diving, kite surfing, sailing, and flying private planes.
